UN-MARKETING CHALLENGE

What Would a Day in the Life of a Customer Email Look Like?

Take a tour through any web site these days and you’ll surely find an email link or a form encouraging customer feedback. A bold request when you think about it. You’ve invested countless hours and dollars developing products and services, stocking the right merchandise, crafting your marketing messages and campaigns and setting up a stellar operation only to give your customer’s permission to sound off on your efforts.

Perhaps this explains why most feedback programs consist of an email address or web form routed through the lower echelons of the company, clearly missing a rich opportunity for customer engagement.

Take this week's Un-Marketing Challenge:  Trace a day in the life of a customer email

Review reader responses to our previous Challenge:  Have you dated a customer lately?
