Expert's Corner
Kickoff your September!
Jeff Jensen — Intertech Principal Consultant and Instructor
First off, thanks to all of you for the overwhelming response to our Oxygen Blast ’07 -- the 1-day conference on .NET 3.0 / 3.5, Silverlight (ASP.NET Futures), and Team Foundation Server. It was so popular that the first day filled and a second day was added. The second day also filled! We look forward to seeing many of you at our event.
In this month’s newsletter, we have:
- A simple approach to enterprise software configuration
- Career advice for ages 16-60+
- A website with 20+ free downloadable controls
- A video on how to create a War Room
- 6 tips for fessing up to mistakes (while it’s in our Project Management section, these tips apply to life in general)
As we move into fall, we have some offers and announcements:
- Application security is front of mind for many developers and managers. Intertech’s Complete .NET 2.0 Security is a front-to-back guide for .NET developers on creating secure applications. Limited seats remain in the September 17-20th class.
- If you’re interested in potentially using Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Intertech has a FREE 3-Day SDLC Assessment. Call to find out if you and your firm qualify.
- As always, the Intertech sponsored Twin Cities Java User Group and Visual Studio Team System Minnesota are free resources for Java and .NET developers.
In closing, there are a couple of noteworthy Intertech achievements. Intertech (for the 3rd time) was selected as a Best Place to Work in Minnesota. Intertech was also named to the Inc. 5000, making Intertech one of the 5000 fastest growing companies in America. Neither of these awards would be possible without you, our customers. Thank you.
Have a Great Fall—Go Vikes!
