With Minnesota finally getting colder (which, I love by the way), Intertech is hot and lining up some great stuff. First, our DevBlitzevent is already starting to fill. If you haven’t heard about DevBlitz, here’s the low down:
· DevBlitz is an 11-hour, hands-on conference on all things .NET 3.0 (C# 3.0, Visual Basic 9.0, WCF, WPF, WF, and LINQ)
· Laurence Moroney, Brian Myers, and I are speaking. We’re all Apress authors (by night). By day, Laurence works at Microsoft, Brian is a consultant who’s worked with .NET since Beta, and I’ve traveled around the country teaching groups like NASA .NET technologies.
· Microsoft, MSDN Magazine, and Apress are platinum sponsors
· It’s being held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on March 29th. It will run from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. At the end of the day, we’ll have a reception with a raffle for XBOX 360s, Zune players, and other great stuff.
For more info or to sign-up, go to www.DevBlitz.com. We expect the event to fill. Also, if you register in January you’ll save $100. For additional Intertech news, here are the highlights:
· Celebrating it’s 10-year anniversary, the Twin Cities Java User Group, founded by Intertech, continues offering great FREE Java learning.
· I’ve been asked by Microsoft to speak at the Vista launch on February 1st at the Minneapolis Convention Center. If you’re around, look me up.
· For those of you doing SOA, check out our offerings on Effective Web Services Architecture and Design Patterns and Effective Message Systems Architecture and Design Patterns
