 Editorial Corner

Welcome to The Software Developer

Jim White

Hi.  I’m Jim White, Intertech Java Instructor and Director of Training.  As a “player coach,” I teach and oversee the instructors at Intertech.  This month I’m the editor of The Software Developer.

In this issue, fellow Java instructor Steve Close shares insights on Enumerations and Variable Argument Lists.  In our feature article, I’ve shared insights on J2ME Obfuscation that appeared in DevX.  Though my expertise is in Java, Intertech continues to lead the field in .NET.

With .NET 2.0 just around the corner, we’ve created courses targeted for the professional developer who’s moving from 1.x to 2.0.  We have a Complete .NET 2.0 for 1.x Developers  and a Complete ASP.NET 2.0 for 1.x Developers.  Also, in the next couple of months, Intertech will be at Microsoft’s Professional Developer Conference (PDC) and the Heartland Developer’s Conference (HDC).  If you are at either conference, stop by our booth to catch up and get some free stuff.

Enjoy the issue,

Jim
