Editorial Corner

As January 2005

January has been a nutty month as usual since Paul, my older son, and I have January birthdays (Inauguration Day). My daughter's is exactly three weeks after mine. Planning two kids' birthday parties, finding gifts for them and my husband, and deciding where to eat for my birthday. I'm a lousy decision-maker, so it is not an easy thing for me to do. Thankfully, the baby's birthday is not 'til late April!

My mom keeps asking what I want. I told her that she's done more than enough for my family, especially in the past two years with Paul being out of work. She insists. Two things I always appreciate: books and gadgets. I'm a lucky gal to have her for a mom, and I try to appreciate her year-round not just on Mother's Day. I admit, however, I enjoy getting surprises.

Thank you for playing the CEO guessing game in the last two issues. The results are most educational and surprising. I hope you have as much fun reading the article as I did reviewing the data and writing it.
