eNewsletter Expert Interview |

Michael Katz – Blue Penguin Development
There ain’t nothing cold about e-newsletters
Michael Katz, Blue Penquin speaks with Meryl K. Evans, Editor, eNewsletter Journal
Friends, colleagues, and professionals. For each one we know, we had a first meeting where we received our first impressions. Think about the ones with whom you immediately clicked. Now, what about those they took "getting used to?" Were there any that rubbed you the wrong way on the first or second meeting?

This Issue's Dilemma:
Too Cheap for Hired Help I want to start an e-newsletter. My business is very small and is just getting off the ground, so I can't afford to pay for a service to distribute the e-newsletters, manage the email lists, and view the tracking reports. What can I do to manage an enewsletter (send it and manage the mailing list)? Just create an email and send BCC to the mailing list, use a free service like NotifyList.com, or something else?
What would they advise?
- S. Cannon, VP

Last Issue We Asked You:
Everyone Wants to Sit Quietly in the Back Row!
We tried to follow eNewsletter Journal's lead, and involve our readers by asking for their participation in our e-newsletter. We gave readers an opportunity to ask questions that our experts and readers can answer. Yet, few people respond to the questions posed and fewer submit a problem to solve. What can we do to increase reader involvement?
The advice your readers give is great. What would they advise?
