Welcome to the Premiere Issue
Hello. I’m Morgan Smith, Editor of The Event Organizers eJournal. Welcome to the premiere issue of our new publication. Brought to you by Acteva, this interactive monthly customer newsletter is specially designed for event organizers, whether the events you organize are for 20 people or 2,000.
Each issue of TEOJ addresses major obstacles you face in your business life. We explore these challenges to deepen your understanding of the ever-changing world of event organizing and provide tips on managing your career, promoting your business online and improving attendee/sponsor event sell-through.
We welcome your involvement, so please provide your best advice to business dilemmas posed by our readers or present a problem you’re facing yourself. Real experience 'from-the-field' helps everyone succeed.
Please let me know how successful we are at including articles that are relevant to your professional life by taking a 1-minute reader survey.

This Issue's Dilemma:
Help! Save Our Webmaster from Drowning!
I work
for a small educational business focused on process training for purchasing
managers. Until recently, we used our Web site just to provide general company
information. But now, we're putting event information and registration
materials on our Web site to support the up-to-seven workshops we hold each
month.
The
problem is our part-time Webmaster. He can't keep up with all the site changes,
he's whelmed in data.
Can
someone out there suggest a way we can handle these online functions more
effectively with the only Webmaster we've got? Any information would be greatly
appreciated.
- Jack,
Event Manager
