What Would You Do? |
Last Issue's Dilemma:
Throwing Webinars into the marketing pool
I am attempting to use Webinars as a marketing tool for my computer software and networking company. Regarding using this marketing technique, I have more questions than answers. I've just begun to investigate Webinars: the benefits in increasing sales, time and effort involved, and advantages and disadvantages.
As colleagues in the service business, I'd like to tap into your experience. Should I try Webinars? If so, what’s the best way to get prospects to attend — email or phone invitations?

This Issue's Dilemma:
My ceiling isn’t glass — it’s iron
I’ve been passed over for a promotion — again. I’m only five to eight years away from retirement (depending on whether I set off into the sunset at 62 or 65), so maybe I shouldn’t care. But I do.
Several of my colleagues are also frustrated about how no one in our division seems to get a promotion, and they’re not even close to retirement. Should we just stop wishing and keep our heads down? Or is there something we can do to confront management to help nudge us into new positions?
